Franklyn Studio and Franklyn Men will be closed today Saturday February 6th, due to inclement weather. All clients with appointments today will be called to reschedule. A Closer Shave

At Franklyn Men we use and recommend The Art of Shaving. This product line is infused with therapeutic essential oils, botanical extracts and is specially formulated for a mans needs. Follow these easy steps below for a close shave.
- We recommend shaving after a shower so your pores are exfoliated and open
- Make sure your face is clean, free from dirt and oil. Use a gentle face cleanser, which will sooth the skin , maintain PH and add moisture
- Use a pre shave oil, this softens the beard and prepares the skin for a close shave.
- Apply shaving cream with a boar hair brush. The cream softens and lifts hair while protecting skin from irritation and razor burn
- Procede to shave with the grain of the hair using a sharp blade
- Follow with an after shave , this is an integral part of shaving that soothes the skin, and refreshes.
